In Talks With: Leonardo Brocca – Emtech CBO

We’re excited to introduce "In Talks With", a new section in our newsletter that highlights members of the Argentina-Texas Chamber of Commerce, their professional journeys, and their connection to the Chamber. In this edition, we had the pleasure of speaking with Leonardo Brocca, Chief Business Officer at Emtech, who shared insights into his career path and his company’s involvement with ATCC. If you’re a member and would like to be featured in an upcoming edition, feel free to reach out — we’d love to hear your story.

About Emtech

Emtech is an Argentine company with over 20 years of experience developing embedded systems for critical projects in industries like space, HPC, instrumentation, and test. In his role, Leonardo leads the company’s commercial and strategic development, blending deep technical expertise with a vision focused on global growth.

“I’m an electronic engineer and have been working in embedded systems for over 20 years, especially in space systems. I joined Emtech three years ago, and it’s been a truly exciting challenge,” Leonardo shared. He was invited by CEO Guillermo Guichal to lead a new project, combining his technical experience with a growing focus on the commercial side.

What Emtech Does

Emtech provides embedded system development services, combining electronic hardware with specialized software to perform specific functions. Its main clients come from industries like aerospace, nuclear, high-performance computing (HPC), and leading semiconductor testing and instrumentation companies. Emtech is a B2B company based in Bariloche with an office in Bahía Blanca, operating 100% remotely, which allows them to work with clients across Argentina and internationally.

Their core value lies in human talent:

“What we offer are high-value-added services, and that relies entirely on our people. 90% of our professional staff are highly specialized and qualified for the roles they perform in the design of these systems.” said Leonardo.

Emtech’s value proposition is about breaking the traditional barrier between supplier and client. Instead of waiting passively for work, their goal is to actively engage with the client’s business, understand it in depth, and deliver productive, embedded solutions from the inside out. This approach is built on three pillars:

  • Highly trained professionals
  • An excellent cost-benefit ratio
  • Unmatched proactivity in every area they work in

Leonardo explained that Emtech acts as a bridge between disciplines, going beyond software or electronics. In interdisciplinary projects, they take the time to understand each industry's specific needs.

One of Emtech’s flagship projects is in the satellite sector. When asked what it means on a personal level, Leonardo responded:

“There’s nothing more literal than having your work go straight to the sky.”

Every satellite they help design or support orbits the Earth, carrying with it a piece of the team’s effort and dedication. For him, the launch is the pinnacle of all the work behind it.

Leonardo also shared that Emtech is developing a spin-off focused on IoT for precision agriculture and livestock, aimed at optimizing processes and improving efficiency in the farming sector. With products already entering the local market and clients in Argentina, the project is being led by Emtech professionals in collaboration with external partners.

International Expansion: A Strategic Vision

Emtech’s international expansion stems from CEO Guillermo Guichal’s long-term vision, recognizing early the potential for global growth. Leonardo emphasized the importance of solid relationships and coordination, pointing to the Argentina Texas Chamber of Commerce (ATCC) as a vital partner in this process.

“We realized that to identify and seize real opportunities, we needed to be part of strategic networks. ATCC quickly became central for us,”

Since joining, Emtech has leveraged the Chamber’s network and events to connect with key players in the energy and technology sectors, reinforcing its strategic position in the Texas market—one of the world’s most dynamic business ecosystems.

Leonardo encouraged other Latin American tech companies to engage with organizations like ATCC, which foster growth through connection, dialogue, and shared knowledge. For Emtech, the Chamber has been more than a strategic step—it’s a powerful platform for building lasting value between Argentina and Texas.

We thank Leonardo Brocca for sharing his journey, insights, and the inspiring work Emtech is doing across high-impact industries. His vision and commitment reflect the spirit of innovation and collaboration that drives the Argentina-Texas business connection forward.
